Resettlement Program

The NMCP (Netherlands Management Cooperation Programme) is an independent organization that assigns senior advisers, many of whom are retired or have taken early retirement, to companies and organizations in central and eastern Europe. These advisers share their knowledge and experience without receiving any financial reward.

The Resource Center Foundation's Resettlement Program applied for such an adviser and, after being approved a NMCP expert on redundant military servicemen resettlement issues, was sent to perform a one-week evaluation and assistance visit.

Mr. Jan De Kleyn, the NMCP adviser, provided assistance in the following activities:

Assessment of the current structures and function of the Resettlement Program;

Providing assistance to our Resettlement Centers with development of a Program for performing regional activities related to the philosophy and operations of the forthcoming formation of EU Rapid Development Forces;

Providing necessary guidance in processing the Program's implementation in terms of different means, training, networking, know-how, etc.

Mr. De Kleyn's Report and the Resettlement Program Director's Report are detailed assessments of the Project's results.
