Priorities:

Democracy

  1. Introduction of democratic practices of partnerships between the authorities and civic initiatives. Projects aimed at surmounting the opposition between the administration and civil society units whereby both sides take commitments of efficient democractic changes.

  2. Monitoring administrative activity, creating transparency, fighting corruption as a part of the public administration reform. Easing public mistrust in relation to specific problems;

  3. Arranging public debates on problems of social import, developing alternative solutions of specific problems by expert teams;

  4. Protecting human rights, risk groups and unfavoured groups.

Economy

  1. NGO participation in the preparation of regional development plans;

  2. Assisting small businesses through the provision of information and consultancy services;

  3. Developing alternatives and public debate of economic regulatory mechanisms;

  4. Tackling regional problems through the identification of the interests of various social strata and the mobilization of resources for their settlement;

  5. Stimulating the integration process among various regions in the country and Eurointegration.

Priority project financial characteristics

  1. State or municipal project budgeting. The budgeting can be made under the form of:

  • Funding part of the project;

  • Project financing commitment upon the conclusion of the development stage;

  • Participation with premises, equipment or other resources;

  1. Finding project funding from local businesses or corporate donors;

  2. Involvement of international donors;

  3. Income generating sustainable projects: publishing projects, consultancy, etc.;

  4. Mobilization of the resources of more than one NGO in project implementation.
